Enjoy incredible landscapes from the highest peak of Spain “El Teide” (3718 m), the sacred mountain of the ancient “Guanches”, a magical and spectacular place.
The excursion starts at the entrance of the cable car (or if you choose the option of being picked up at your hotel and then travel in a comfortable minivan to the Teide National Park, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO). Have your camera ready as you pass through the wooded landscape of the Forest Crown. If you leave from the south of Tenerife, you can see the forests of Chío. Or, if you start from the north, enjoy the scenery of the island’s imposing ridge from La Esperanza.
Walk around the Caldera de Las Cañadas and take the cable car (included in the price) to discover views across the whole island of Tenerife. After a cable car ride of approximately 8 minutes, you will arrive at 3555 metres, where you will begin your hike to the highest point in Spain.
Accompanied by your officially accredited tourist guide, you will delight in the scenery, with rivers of petrified lava and various eroded rock formations, divided by wonderful wildflowers. About 30 minutes later, you will arrive at the Teide crater, where you can enjoy incredible views of Tenerife and the Canary Islands.
When the time is right, you will return to the tour vehicle and be transported to your hotel (if you have booked this option).
